The Graphics Muse Tools are a set of plugins, brushes, and patterns designed for use with the GIMP.

The GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program, a Photoshop-like application that runs on Linux, Unix, Windows, and even Mac OS X systems.

The Graphics Muse Tools consists of a number of different plugins, all of which are currently available for GIMP 1.2.
  • GFXArrows
    Interactive tool for creating arrows of varying styles.
  • GFXCards
    Simple page layout tool for integrating GIMP Images into a single page. Useful for printing business cards and greeting cards.
  • GFXLayers
    Interactive layer alignment tool. Vast improvement to the very simple layer alignment tool that comes stock with GIMP.
  • GFXMerge
    Point and click interface to integrate multiple layers from one image into another or copy layers out from one image into a new one.
  • GFXShapes
    Interactively create multiple stars, grids, polygons, fans and other geometric shapes.
  • GFXTrans
    Simple layer rotation tool that includes the option of doing multiple generations. Useful for creating simple animations.
  • GFXDodge
    Perl plugin to adjust overexposed regions in photographs.
  • GFXOffsets
    Perl plugin to save layer offest information to a formatted text file.
  • GFXLayerSave
    Perl plugin to save layers to individual files.

What is XEUS?

XEUS stands for Ximba End User Software. Ximba is the new name for the Graphics Muse. XEUS is my own personal SourceForge.

Ximba focuses on desktop software (including graphics). XEUS is the web site that makes this software publicly available as well opening the software to public contribution.
